Altar Journal is an ongoing Jewish literary publication that was launched in November of 2013 by Raffi Leicht, Chavie Lieber, and Michael Weber. At Altar, we showcase the triumphs and struggles of a holistically spiritual life by sharing the perspectives of unique individuals. Through our prose, we aim to distill our suppressed realities.
Although most contributors come from a Jewish background, Altar is in no way limited in its spiritual scope. Contributors are varied, and each provide a different perspective that's universal in its individuality.
